Possibility for user to personalize the interface

This is a personal preference, but I would suggest you to change the design of the app: make it more minimal, so more users will appreciate it, and add the possibility to modify the interface.

Set a design like Apple interface: less colours and drawings, but mainly black, white and grey with simple icons. Instead you can maybe add the possibility for the user to personalize the interface.
