I think it's important to have a modern design in 2022. I advise you to orient the meals vertically in order to provide a preview of the foods with their own macros beside each one

Actually I use yazio app on android phone and android tablet. Orientation is available in both vertical (portrait) and horizontal (landscape) for which I am thankful. However information displayed must be formatted differently and individually so I often hold my device accordingly to find the best solution. Very pleased thus far.
