My Meal Plan adjusted to my calories goal
Let’s say I’m setting up “my meal plan” in coach tab (1st image). It gives me plan that is in total daily calories of 744 (sum of 2nd, 3rd and 4th images: breakfast, lunch and dinner calories) while my calorie goal is 2100 (5th image).
Coach should adjust suggested meals (or at least their amount) to what user goal is.

EgorTotally agree with you. This feature is much needed! I can’t bulk up with such little amount of calories, which app offers with its diet plans.

DanI agree too. I am doing an intermitente 16:8 without breakfast and the couch is showing me only lunch and dinner with the calories a lot under the needed quantities for my lifestyle.

DidierTotally agree. If average calories at rest are available through Apple Health this should be taken into account immediately by the plan as the number of calories to start from and substract from this average calories at rest a reasonable amount to achieve the plan goal. The coach meals portions should then automatically be built on that max calories intake amount for the day. It could even go a step further and adapt portions for lunch and evening meals based on the activities undertaken

eddyTotally agree with all points from previous entries, Have some more adjustments. adding receipt in the dairy, becomes as a none modifiable entry. Found out if I added the same ingredients and weight , the number of calories, carb etc. are most of the time more then the coach shows.
I am cooking for one person, so I like to see the meals show 1 serving. -

Alberto Caruso Merged2 - while creating the personal food program (coach function) the system does not consider the kcals suggested by the app itself to help you reach your goal.
Thank you for your work. Alberto -

Sebastian LabanderaAgree too! without that feature, the meal plan of the app is worthless... Actually we just use the meals content of the app as a kitchen book.
But I go further with the request... if I have not calories goal but macronutrients goal, app shall also help with that -

EilchnerA much needed update - without it, meal plans are pretty much useless.

CamiliaThis is a much needed feature to make the coach useful. I don't use it a all with the current features as it doesn't help me to be organized. The coach app should also allow us to make changes ourselves with the food we want / create our own meal plans with suggestions of recipies we might like.

VirpiWe should also get the meal plans for the entire family. My husband needs 2200 cal per day and I need 1500 cal per day. So the shopping list should include the whole family.

Virpi MergedWe would like to send our one week shopping list to my online grocery store ( like foodie.fi). This is possible at least in US and I would like to have this in Europe too. There exists an app that is asking the calorie intake per one day of all family members (adults and children according to their age and weight and willingness to loose weight or not) and then it calculates to meal sizes for the whole family including breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. It should also be possible to follow a diet one prefers, like mediterian, vegan or low-carp, low hard fat, no red meat etc. Then according to your diet preferences the app sends the shopping list to the online store app (like foodie.fi) and it is possible to order a proper amount of all food ingredients for say one week just by one click. We would like to have this option in YAZIO.

VirpiWe would like to have four meals proposed by the coach every day: breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. They should end up with to the total calorie intake per day without need to add anything by my self when I'm following a diet. Please look at the other apps available (like PlateJoy in US) just to get the idea of the questions they are asking to perform the service for customers with different needs. I prefer YAZIO as it originates in Europe and the recipes are more suitable for Europeans, but it is worth to look ideas in other parts of the world too.

James Mallison MergedCoach meal suggestions for the day should hit macro nutrient goals, so that users who want to build muscle hit the correct protein and fat requirements etc.
It’s not all about calories. Even with weight loss, the correct macronutrients are extremely important for a healthy diet.
Right now, a user with a build muscle goal can have recipes suggested to them that hit the correct calorie goal, but have 10% of the required fats, which would severely hamper this goal.
You’d need to search your recipes a lot more to achieve this given the complexities (users only selecting two breakfast and dinner, for example).
I gave you a user story for free on an App Store review ;). -

Ella MergedProvide seasonal menus. with the according seasonal ingredients. it doesn't make sense to have „peaches“ in my menu in winter in europe. we all should look more to natural food which is healthiest - for ourselves and our nature and environment.

Gabriel HenriqueI totally agree. The application has to add easy recipes with the cost-benefit that we like and fits in our pocket. I need 2700 calories, and the app only gives me recipes with expensive ingredients that don't even come close to that goal

DianaCoach tab should be reviewed and fixed, since it give us the same meal for breakfast, lunch and dinner, when I was expected to be personalized.

TatianaThe amount of calories, fats, carbohydrates, proteins in the food diary should be at least approximately equal to my goals. Now the proposed diet is very different from the goals: according to the meal plan, I am consuming few calories and a lot of fats!

MarcoTotally AGREED. I would like to lose weight by using the Coach plans but Yazio doesn't adapt those plans to my calories. For what I have paid for? I expected my meal plan to be proportioned to my target, but it seems to be the same for every user.

Jenny MergedPossibility to automatically get meals and ingredients adjusted would be great and make it so much easier to plan the day ahead, not just use Yazio to log a day.
Say you have planned the day but lack calories or have added to many when you planned the day. It would be great if you could adjust calories automatically, like rebalance a meal and it's ingredients to hit correct total calories for that day. It would make planning in advance easier. -
